Confidentiality Policies Therapy, mediation, and supervision are generally confidential communication.  Some legal exceptions apply, as well as quality control procedures of third-party payers.  Client information is kept confidential by Dr. Yingling in accordance with HIPAA regulations, the Texas Mental Health Code, and other state/federal regulations.  Mental Health records are maintained in locked cabinets; contents are released only by consent of each client included in the record, safety risks which require protection from harm, or order of the court.
